Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer announced on Oct. 18 that they’d ended their nine-year marriage, but Life & Style has learned the couple, who are parents to daughter Ruby, 9, and son Otis, 7, are taking their time when it comes to physically saying farewell.

“They have been separated since early summer,” the insider reveals to Life & Style, “but they are still living together and co-parenting.”

“Tobey is a good dad and a very good provider,” says a source. “That will help them move forward amicably.”

They “are still friends and want to keep it that way for their children.”
