Twi-hearts have been breaking all over the globe after reports surfaced that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had broken up last week.
Now, Life & Style can exclusively reveal that Rob moved his stuff out of Kristen’s home in LA on May 19, and back into his own home a few miles away.
“He showed up early in the morning in a big red pickup truck and was in the house for maybe 30 minutes,” an eyewitness tells Life & Style. “When he came out, the back of the truck was loaded with stuff. Suitcases, a bike, trash bags full of his things.”
But most notable of the belongings the 27-year-old Twilight star took from the property – his two dogs!
“His dogs have lived with Kristen the whole time — even when she cheated, they stayed at her house — so it is very symbolic that he has taken them now,” the insider revealed.
And clearly the process was not a happy one for Rob, who “looked miserable” as he drove away. Adds the onlooker, “He looked like a man who had just been kicked out.”
Rob and Kristen, 23, dated for 4 years after meeting on the set of The Twilight Saga movies in 2008. Their relationship was rocked last year when it was revealed that Kristen had cheated with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
Although the couple rekindled their romance after her indiscretion, they have since been plagued by rumors of fighting. According to sources, the off-again couple had a blowout fight the night of Rob’s birthday on May 13 that resulted in the split.
