What are the influences for your new album?
My music is genre defying in a sense. I want to make music that anyone and everyone can jam out to. In some ways it’s very modern and others it’s got a great retro feel. In many ways the album is very specific and very general but always enjoyable if that makes any sense at all.
Is it surreal going from a YouTube sensation to recording your new album with Shawn Campbell, who has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood?
It’s SOO surreal. We all hear these legends of people being discovered off of Youtube. I was lucky to be discovered at a theatre show. But I knew of Shawn Campbell’s reputation before I ever met him. I knew what he was doing with Cody Simpson. So when I found out he was interested in working with me I was pumped. I think we make a great team with Taran Gray and Darrien Henning. Who is your biggest influence, musical or otherwise?
No one can beat Billy Joel in my book. He is by FAR my biggest inspiration.
What is your favorite hobby?

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three items would you take with you?
Hmm, I would bring…..
– Grand Piano
– A boat (that may be cheating I don’t know, haha)
– Arizona Tea
How do you act when you have a crush on somebody?
I’m either terribly awkward, or I’m just really lovey dovey and write songs about them and poems and become really clingy. I’m not gonna lie I love the idea of love but I don’t know if I really understand it.
Who is your celebrity crush?
Either Emma Watson or Beyonce
What’s the one thing about girls that confuses you the most?
When they expect you to read their mind and know exactly what they’re saying with out ever telling you.
What is the one piece of advice you would give to your fans trying to pursue their dreams?
Be you, unabashedly YOU! Don’t let other peoples thoughts and opinions pull you down. And follow your dreams until the end of forever.”
